At the age of 18, Barbara Hubbard noticed that something was missing in her life and in the lives of the people in her small town of Bentonville, Arkansas--music. That year, she started Teen Town a place to enjoy music and dance.  Undaunted by the more conservative townsfolks accusing her of promoting “sin,” she built this music venue into a popular hangout for young people the mid-1940s.

Hubbard has been bucking the odds ever since to become one of the most respected leaders in the live entertainment industry.

Never to let an opportunity slip, she continues to book shows in her adopted state of New Mexico well into her 90s.

Consulting

Through her consulting business, Hubbard continues to help booking agents, venue owners, and talent agencies grow their businesses. She shares her insights into the entertainment industry and venue management business you can only get through years of hand-on experience, complete honesty, and hard work. Plus, Hubbard knows how to succeed during times of exponential change – something everyone needs to understand in this industry.

She’s been a dedicated mentor to hundreds and a career counselor to thousands. Her decades of teaching and training students makes her a natural consultant in the live entertainment industry.
